Keeper League Rules
1. 12-14 Teams, free to play
2. Yahoo, Head to Head
3. 12 Keeper + 2 Keeper with a maximum of 60 NHL games. Can´t keep more than 2 goalies.
4. Player categories: Goals, Assist, +/-, PIM, Powerplay points, shorthanded points, faceoffs won, SOG
5. goalie stats: wins, GAA, SV%, shotouts
6. Rostersize (daily): 24 (3 C, 3 LW, 3 RW, 5 D, 2 G – 8 Benchspots: max. 1 goalie min. 2 guys with a maximum of 60 NHL games (deadline october 1st every year). The 2 extra spots can only be filled by rookies, otherwise the have to stay open. Max of 3 goalies per team (no matter how many games they have played)
3 IR spots, only for players getting injured while they are in your team. No free agent parking allowed.
7. live online draft, random order when the league starts last pick in the first round drafts first in the 2nd round.
2nd year: Champion has the last pick in every round, worst team picks first
(no snake draft)
8. max. 2 moves per week, 2 days waiver for droped players and free agents returning from injury. Unlimited trades and preseason moves. Roster will be locked at the last day of the play-offs.
9. Trades are only allowed online. The deadline will be 7 days after the NHL trading deadline.
Trades can be vetoed by GMs via email to the commissioner. You have to explain your veto. Trade will be cancelled if at least half of the gms vetoed it.
10. You have to respond to trade offers within 48 hours. Roster must be set every day. If a GM is absent for more than 2 days he has to post a message on the yahoo page to inform the other GMs
11. team names must be kept for the entire season, no name changes allowed.
12. rules can only be changed if at least 75% of the GMs agree!
13. If a GM breaks one of these rules, he will receive an email and he can be warned, fined or even kicked out.
If he has an illegal roster (to few defender, extra bench spots filled with veteran players), he will have a timeframe of 48 hours to correct it.
